Low-Carbon Solution
Gyvlon® Screed version with Faster Drying (FD) and Early To Cover (E2C®)
Anhydritec Ltd has developed Gyvlon® ECO FD E2C® technology to complement its Gyvlon® range of screeds. Designed for jobsites with reduced lead times, ECO FD E2C® screed enables floor coverings to be applied at least twice as fast as Gyvlon® ECO screed; under the same conditions. In addition, Gyvlon ECO FD E2C® brings together all proven benefits expected from a Gyvlon® screed.
- Very high fluidity
- No shrinkage
- Large bay sizes
- No reinforcement
- No curing membrane
- Minimum SR2 surface finish
- Environmentally friendly, greatly reduced CO2 and carbon content
Ready2Pour are Gyvlon screed suppliers based in Bishop’s Stortford. We supply and install Gyvlon ECO FD E2C for residential and commercial projects across Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Greater London, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, and can advise on Gyvlon prices and whether FD E2C is the right product for your project requirements.
Productivity & Ease of Use
The ECO FD E2C® screed exhibits very high productivity rates (200 m²/h). It is possible to walk on after 24 hours, and will generally accept trades within 48 hours.
Shorter lead times before floor covering
The E2C® technology (Early to Cover) strengthens the screed properties, especially at the surface, increasing adhesion performance, allowing risk free floor covering even at high
moisture content (MC), from 1,5% MC for tilesD and vinylsE.
Versatility & Freedom
Gyvlon ECO FD E2C is suitable for a wide range of applications including underfloor heating, thermal and acoustic insulation builds and floor levelling. It carries all the standard benefits of the Gyvlon range: no reinforcement, no curing membrane, large bay sizes and a minimum SR2 surface finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does FD E2C mean in Gyvlon ECO FD E2C?
FD stands for Fast Drying and E2C stands for Early to Cover. Together these technologies accelerate drying and allow floor coverings to be applied at higher moisture content than standard Gyvlon ECO, meaning less waiting time between the screed pour and finishing trades.
How much faster does Gyvlon ECO FD E2C dry than standard Gyvlon ECO?
Under the same conditions, Gyvlon ECO FD E2C allows floor coverings to be applied at least twice as fast as standard Gyvlon ECO. It is the preferred choice for new builds, commercial projects with handover deadlines, or any project where minimising time between screed and finishing trades is a priority.
Is Gyvlon ECO FD E2C suitable for underfloor heating?
Gyvlon ECO FD E2C is fully compatible with underfloor heating systems. If underfloor heating performance rather than drying speed is the primary requirement, Gyvlon THERMIO MAX offers higher thermal conductivity and may be a better specification.
Can I get Gyvlon ECO FD E2C prices from Ready2Pour?
Yes, Ready2Pour are Gyvlon screed suppliers based in Bishop’s Stortford covering Hertfordshire, Essex, Cambridgeshire, Greater London, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire. We can provide pricing based on your floor area, depth, and service requirements. Call 01277 890 111 for a quote.
