Gyvlon screed is a range of liquid flowing screeds, including Gyvlon® XTR®, designed for high mechanical performance, excellent stability and versatile flooring applications with a 98% recycled binder. Gyvlon® XTR® technology combines high strength (C35-F7), natural stability and thin-section installation, making it suitable for projects that need performance without unnecessary build-up. Its smooth, level finish allows earlier installation of common floor coverings such as carpet, vinyl and tiles, as well as more demanding finishes like resins.

Lewis Deck
Gyvlon® XTR® screed is suitable for the Lewis deck dovetail sheeting; for use with timber; metal web or steel joists in masonry and timber or light weight steel structures.
Lewis deck and Gyvlon® XTR® create a thin lightweight system (only 36 mm) with an excellent fire rating (up to 120 minutes) and is used to form suspended floor systems.
High load floating floor
Gyvlon® XTR® is ideal on floating screed floors subjected to both high dead and temporary loadings in commercial projects such as retail units, supermarkets or high foot traffic areas.
Its installation speed helps reduce programme time in commercial spaces.
(The performance of the system is also dependent on the loading characteristics of the insulation).
High Strength & Low Thickness
Gyvlon® XTR® combines high mechanical performance (C35-F7) with a low section (30 mm unbonded), allowing its use in buildings where increased loads are required without unnecessarily increasing floor build-ups, at significantly reduced thicknesses compared to traditional screeds and traditional sand/cement mixes; this is critical where floor build-up must be controlled.
